Chicken noodles are present in all Chinese holiday meals. Their length symbolizes things that will last, such as a long life for elderly parents, the solid union of a young married couple, happiness and prosperity.
Ingredients for 4 persons
1 Pack of Suzi Wan Egg Noodles
1 Jar of Suzi Wan Mung Bean Sprouts
4 Chicken breasts
1 sliced onion
2 cuil. Suzi Wan Soy Sauce
3 cuil. Nuöc màm Suzi Wan
6 Sprigs of flat parsley
Cut the chicken breasts into strips. Drain and rinse the mung bean sprouts. Peel and chop the carrot into thin sticks.
Cook the noodles according to the instructions.
In a wok or frying pan, heat the oil then brown the pieces of chicken and onion for 5 min while stirring. Add the carrots, bean sprouts, nuöc màm, soy sauce, pepper, mix, cover and cook for 10 min over low heat.
Drain the noodles, incorporate them into the preparation, serve immediately with flat parsley.
To save time, you can use frozen vegetable julienne.
