Try this delicious Panera chicken bowl noodle soup recipe – I think you’ll be surprised how smooth it is to make and the way frugal you can make it.
- 2 boneless skinless chicken breast
- 2 cans of chicken broth
- 2 cups water (may need to add more)
- 2 cups carrots diced (just eyeball it)
- 2 cups celery diced (just eyeball it)
- 1/2 onion diced small
- 1 tsp of thyme
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 tsp of garlic salt (or use minced garlic)
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup egg noodles
Cook on the stovetop.
Drizzle a pot with olive oil.
Begin cooking the carrots, onions, and celery for a few minutes.
Chop chicken and add to the pot.
Pour chicken broth and water over.
Bring to a boil and cook until the chicken starts to fall apart
Remove chicken and shred.
Return to soup
Add in the uncooked egg noodles and cook until they are cooked through.
Serve with nice crusty bread.
Place everything (except the noodles) in the crockpot.
Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high 3-4 hours.
minutes before serving, remove chicken and shred.
Return to pot. Turn crockpot on high and add egg noodles.
After about 30 minutes noodles will be done and dinner is served.
