The warm beef dip is one in every of our favorite warm dips to serve for the game day, as an appetizer or to take to a potluck. The warm beef dip is a traditional appetizer that everyone loves.
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup onion, diced
- 3/4 cup tomato sauce
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- one 8 oz package cream cheese, cubed
- 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese, grated
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 Teaspoon oregano
- 1 Teaspoon sugar
- salt and pepper to taste
Brown the ground beef and onion in a saute pan. Remove the ground beef from the pan and drain on paper towels to remove all the grease. Place the ground beef in a microwavable bowl. Add the tomato sauce, sugar, ketchup, garlic and oregano to the bowl. Stir to combine. Microwave for 1 minute. Add the creamed cheese and Parmesan Cheese to the bowl, microwave for 2 minutes or until creamed cheese has melted. Salt and pepper to taste. Stir to combine, serve hot with crackers or Doritos.
